Fun, easy-to-surf right point. What sets it apart from the rest of Sri Lanka’s right, sand-bottom pointbreaks is that because it’s nearly impossible to find without a guide or a helicopter (and there ain’t no helicopters), despite being relatively close to Arugam Bay, it’s seldom crowded. This makes it a good place to go hook into a few 300-meter long rights without having to battle three dozen former Israeli commandos who’ve never heard the expression “surf etiquette.”
