Day 1
- Depart Colombo from Hikkaduwa or Air Port after the breakfast at Hotel or one the way
- Visit the famous Dutch Fort in Galle is a must.
- From Unawatuna to Weligama, the A 2 road runs close to the coast and this 20 km stretch offers a beautiful view of the beach and the Mirissa area which the home of the stilt fisherman.
- Lunch on the way to Tissamaharama
- Proceed to Hotel or guest house Tissamaharama for evening tea & snacks
- Depart for Kataragama to partake in a pooja (with fruit offerings, optional)
- Kataragama is another great pilgrim shrine, which is dedicated to Skanda, a popular Hindu deity. Daily poojas are conducted in the morning and evening, which draw large crowds bringing offerings of fruits, flowers and incense to make and fulfill vows.
- Return to The Hotel in Tissamaharama for dinner and overnight stay
DAY 2
- Early Morning 5.00 am Proceed to Yala Safari, Breakfast on the Safari Jeep
- Back to Hotel and 11.30am Departure from the hotel to Hikkaduwa
- Lunch in Tissamaharama city
- En route visit the Hummanaya (blow hole) in Dickwella
- The blow –hole is an attractive natural feature where a sea spray splashes up to as high as 40-50 feet during the monsoon period and attracts many foreign and local tourists alike.
- Visit for a Tea at Martin Wickremasinghe Museum, Kogalla
- Martin Wickremasinghe, is a great Sinhalese author and artist of modern times with a vast collection of over 80 books. A large anthology of artifacts of Sinhalese culture is displayed at this museum.
- Afternoon proceed to Hikkaduwa or Air Port
